One thing is for sure: your nights will never be the same! Maybe I’ve gotten you sad and melancholic – and wishing for a larger bedroom, and maybe a comfier mattress! Well don’t despair. Did you know that many accomplished Interior Designers outfit a bedroom with just a bed headboard on its own (king headboard, queen headboard or even a single), especially if the room is small. Headboards also serve to make the room optically bigger – and by leaving off the footboard, allow you to use of the foot of the bed, for example, as a seat.
Wall mounted headboards. Headboards are most commonly designed with struts to fit the back of standard divan beds. But in some cases a wall mounted headboard, or a wallboard, is a more appropriate option. Wallboards feature many advantages including the decorative potential and the compatibility with any bed. Nevertheless they are not as functional as traditional headboards insofar as they don’t secure your pillows and bed linens from falling off the bed.
